Here's a list of the most expensive schools in South Africa in 2021

According to BusinessTech, despite calls from education experts for private school fees to remain the same or have ‘controlled increases’ in 2021, the cost of private education in South Africa continues to climb.
Anthea Cereseto, national chief executive of the Governing Body Foundation, spoke to BusinessTech and said the federation did not advise schools not to increase fees, but to ‘limit it as far as possible’.
We would consider it somewhat reckless if an ordinary public school took no notice of the economic position of families. We are really emphasising cutbacks and delaying the implementation of proposed projects.

1 Hilton College in KZN maintains the top spot of the most expensive school in the country at R331,550
2 Michaelhouse comes in at the second most expensive school at around R312,350 (study and board in 2021)
3 St Andrew’s College in Grahamstown with R305,550
4 Rodean School for Girls in Parktown, Johannesburg at R296,184
5 Joburg's St John’s College takes the fifth spot at R291,862
