DJ Cosher is back with a new single… and much like some of his other recent releases, this Cape Town-based producer has taken inspiration from the past.

Teaming up with Oshri, DJ Cosher has taken on a song that was first released in 1994 by the Irish group headed by Dolores O'Riordan: The Cranberries. The song in question has been described as "a masterpiece of alternative rock" and won the Best Song Award at the 1995 MTV EMAs.

Now, 27 years after its initial release, ‘Zombie’, has received a dance update (see music video below).

DJ Cosher joined Carl Wastie on the Kfm Top 40 on Saturday, 17 July 2021, to chat about remaking such an iconic song and to find out what went into the process.
