Terms & Conditions
- This competition runs on 947 from 20-31 January 2020.
- Listeners stand in line to win R3000, a MAQ Hamper and a spot in the MAQ Foam Challenge where they can win R15 000.
- To enter, listeners need to send a WhatsApp voice note to 061 494 7947 with their reason on why they should be selected to take part in the MAQ Foam Challenge.
- Winners will be selected by Primedia based on the best story.
- Winners will be called live on the 947 Breakfast Club between Monday 20 January and Thursday 30 January 2020 where they will be asked why they should be selected to participate in the MAQ Foam Challenge.
- Daily, winners will be awarded with R 3000 in cash, a MAQ Hamper and a spot in the MAQ Foam Challenge on 31 January 2020.
- Winners/Finalist need to be available to take part in the MAQ Foam Challenge on the morning of 31 January 2020 at Primedia Place.
- Winners/Finalist will have to make their own way to Primedia Place between 06:00-09:00, exact time to be confirmed closer to the event.
- No travel costs will be covered by Primedia or MAQ.
- All winners/finalist will be required to sign an indemnity form on the day of the event.
- On event day:
- All the finalist will be briefed on what is expected and all associated terms and conditions will be explained.
- Listeners will be expected to create as much foam as possible and move it to another location in a predetermined time frame. The listener with the most foam collected after the time has lapsed will be awarded the grand prize.
- The winner of the MAQ Foam Challenge will be awarded with R15 000 in cash.
- Participants will be randomly selected.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
- The prize is not negotiable, and not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- 947 and Bliss Brands/MAQwill not be held liable for entries not received for any reason whatsoever, and will not be responsible for network connectivity or hardware issues experienced while participating.
- A participant will not be able to win this competition if they have won a prize on 947 within the past 90 days, whether on-air, online or via any of the station’s social platforms.
- If a winner chosen does not comply, their entry will be disqualified, and a new winner will be selected based on their WhatsApp voice note.
- If a winner cannot be successfully contacted, is ineligible to accept the prize, or contravenes the terms and conditions of this competition or of 947 and MAQ, the prize will be forfeited.
- 947 reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- Employees of MAQ, Primedia Broadcasting and their immediate family and friends, are not permitted to enter the competition.
- By entering this competition, a participant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
